This is the basic installation of VoiceNet service.
Connect the WAN port of the Multimedia Terminal Adapter (MTA) to either your DSL modem or your cable modem with an Ethernet cable.
Connect the PC port of the MTA to the Ethernet port of your PC or router with an Ethernet cable.
Connect a telephone to the TEL 1 connector using a standard phone line.
Plug in the power cord into the POWER connector on the MTA. Depress the ON/OFF button to power on the device.
The POWER light on the front of the device will illuminate. Wait a few minutes to allow your device to initialize . . . it will turn off & on a couple of times by itself.
